You’re Here Because Something Isn’t Working
You’ve been the strong one, the one who holds it all together while quietly running on empty. But lately, the weight of it has gotten heavier. The anxiety is louder. The relationship tension is harder to ignore. The patterns you keep falling into are more exhausting than ever.
Or maybe something happened, something painful, disorienting, or unfair, and you haven’t been the same since.
You might be thinking: Is this really bad enough for therapy? Can someone actually help with this? What if I open up and it doesn’t change anything?
Those questions are completely normal. And the fact that you’re asking them means you’re closer to change than you think.
What Brings People to Inner Strength Therapy
We work with adults, couples, and teens who are ready to go deeper than quick fixes. Our clients are often those who’ve been trying to handle things on their own and they’re ready for real support. Here’s what brings most people to our door.
Anxiety & overwhelm
You’re high-functioning on the outside but running on fumes underneath. The racing thoughts, the tension in your body, the constant feeling that something is about to go wrong.
Trauma & emotional patterns
Something from your past is still running the show. Maybe it’s the way you shut down during conflict, or the feeling that you’re never quite safe.
Narcissistic abuse recovery
You’ve been gaslit or controlled by someone who was supposed to love you. Now you’re rebuilding your sense of self and learning to trust your own judgment again.
Couples & marriage therapy
You love each other, but something has broken down. The same arguments keep cycling. The emotional distance is growing. We help you get to the root of it.
A Deeper Approach to Therapy
Most therapy focuses on managing symptoms, giving you tools to cope when things get hard. That matters. But if you’ve ever wondered why the anxiety keeps coming back, why you keep ending up in the same kind of relationship, or why you still feel stuck even after doing “all the right things”, it’s because the root cause hasn’t been touched.
At Inner Strength Therapy, we work differently.
Somatic Therapy | Working with the Body
Your experiences don’t just live in your mind. They live in your body, in the tight chest, the clenched jaw, the knot in your stomach that shows up before a hard conversation. Somatic therapy works directly with the mind-body connection to help your nervous system release what it’s been holding, often for years. This is especially powerful for anxiety and trauma that talk therapy alone hasn’t resolved.
Psychodynamic Therapy | Understanding the Patterns Underneath
Why do you react the way you do? Why do certain situations trigger emotions that feel bigger than the moment? Psychodynamic therapy explores the unconscious patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics that shaped how you move through the world. When you can see the pattern clearly, you can finally step out of it.
By combining these approaches, we address what’s happening in your thoughts, your emotions, your body, and the deeper story underneath. This is how change stops being temporary and starts being real.
Why Inner Strength Therapy
The approach, the relationship, and the intention behind this work.
Dual specialization in somatic and psychodynamic therapy
I work in two traditions, somatic therapy, which engages the body, and psychodynamic therapy, which explores unconscious patterns. These aren’t separate approaches; they’re integrated. Your experience shapes both what you think and what your body holds, and lasting change happens when we address both.
Depth over surface work
This is work that reaches the patterns beneath the symptoms, the early experiences, the nervous system responses, the relational dynamics that shape how you move through the world. Real change comes from working at that depth, not at the surface.
One therapist, one relationship
This is my practice, just me. That means no handoffs, no rotating providers, no waiting rooms. You work with me directly. The therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for this work, and I protect its continuity.
Discretion by design
Privacy isn’t a feature, it’s how this practice is built. For clients who need confidentiality in scheduling, communications, and the experience of care itself, those protections are woven into how I work. (For clients whose professional visibility requires additional layers, Concierge Therapy offers a more tailored arrangement.)
Concierge Therapy for Discerning Clients
A higher level of care for those whose lives demand it.
You’re used to being the one others rely on. The one who makes it work, who holds the details, who keeps moving no matter what’s underneath.
And therapy, if you’ve tried it before, may have felt too rigid for the way your life actually runs. A fifty-minute hour on a Tuesday afternoon doesn’t always fit when your days are unpredictable, your privacy matters, or your schedule belongs to everyone but you.
Concierge Therapy is for clients who need therapy to move at the pace of their real life with flexibility, privacy, and the kind of continuity that lets deeper work actually happen.
Privacy that’s taken seriously
Your confidentiality isn’t a checkbox here. From how sessions are scheduled to how I communicate with you between them, discretion is built into how this work is designed.
A rhythm that fits your life
Extended sessions, off-hours availability, remote options when travel requires it. Therapy that adapts to you, not the other way around.
One therapist, one relationship
You work directly with me, no handoffs, no waiting rooms, no rotating providers. The depth of this work depends on the consistency of our relationship, and I protect that.
I take a limited number of concierge clients each year. Reaching out is confidential, and there’s no pressure to decide anything from a first conversation.
Meet Your Therapist | Taylor Schwartz, MA, LMFT
I started Inner Strength Therapy because I believe therapy should do more than help you get through the week. It should help you understand yourself deeply enough that you stop getting stuck in the same places. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in anxiety, trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, and relationship challenges.
My approach is warm and focused on lasting change. I use somatic and psychodynamic methods because I’ve seen how powerful it is when we work with both the mind and the body, rather than just talking about problems from the surface.
Therapy is a relationship, and I take that seriously. Every person who walks through my door or shows up on my screen matters to me. If you’re looking for someone who will truly listen, meet you where you are, and help you uncover the strength that’s already inside you, I’d love to talk.
