FAQs

Therapy for Adults, Couples, and Teens

In-Person in Beverly Hills and Available Online Throughout California

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, we do not accept health insurance and are considered an out of network provider. This is to ensure that we are working from a clinically compassionate space, without having the limitations or influence from insurance companies. Insurance companies often stipulate what type of care and the length of treatment clients can receive, and they have the right to request notes and records about your treatment.

We can provide you with a “super bill” which you can use to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider for more information on what benefits your plan may cover.

What are your fees per session?

Fees are currently $245 for a 50-minute individual session, and $255 for a 50-minute couples session. We accept credit cards, HSA cards, Flex Spending accounts, checks, or cash. Cash and checks are expected at the beginning of the session while a credit card on file will be automatically charged at the conclusion of the session.

What are your working hours?

We take clients Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with sessions beginning on the hour or half hour.

Do you offer online sessions?

We offer both in-person, and online. Please note that because our license does not extend across state lines, clients must be in the state of California at the time of their tele-health appointment.

How long does therapy take?

Therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” process and may look different for each individual or couple. In terms of meeting frequency, we generally meet weekly until we get the relationship established. However, we can tailor a schedule that works for your individual needs. Often clients report they are starting to feel better after just a few sessions.

We will use the first few sessions to explore where you are, how you feel, and what you want to accomplish. Then together we can establish an ongoing frequency of sessions aimed at achieving your goals. We strive to ultimately give clients the tools they need to independently approach life’s challenges in a successful and fulfilling manner.

Cancellation Policy

Inner Strength Therapy requires 48 hours notice in advance for cancellation of an appointment. If 48 hours notice is not given, you will be charged the full session fee.

What makes Inner Strength Therapy different from other practices?

Inner Strength Therapy is rooted in specialized training in Marriage and Family Therapy and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of therapy. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, we take a depth oriented approach that explores the underlying emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and lived experiences that contribute to distress. This allows for meaningful, lasting change, not just temporary relief.
